Renowned for its vibrant mala dishes, the restaurant strikes a chord with spicy food enthusiasts who crave that distinctive flavor profile. Customers frequently rave about the variety of options including the Stir Fried Mala and the rich Tomato Soup, though some voiced disappointment over the removal of tomato soup from the menu.

Bryan Lee, a loyal customer, attests that this is the best mala spot he has encountered, noting the delicious portion sizes and fair pricing, which averages around MYR 25 to MYR 30 per person. Review highlights

Based on 1,330 reviews

Spicy Temptation Restaurant is well-regarded for its flavorful mala dishes, consistently praised for taste and portion sizes, though some find the prices slightly on the higher side. The restaurant’s convenient location attracts regular patrons, despite occasional challenges with parking and longer wait times during peak hours. Customers appreciate menu variety, including non-mala options like fried garlic dishes, and complimentary treats such as free ice cream add to the dining experience. However, some patrons note changes like the removal of certain soup options and comment on the ambiance, particularly the volume of music. Overall, the establishment is recognized for quality food and attentive service, making it a popular destination for mala enthusiasts and casual diners alike.

Tasty mala and craving can be satisfied there. Was quite sad they removed the tomato soup option but so far others are great. Music played there was too loud

Personally, I think hands down this is the best mala place I ever had. From taste, portion, to pricing. It’s not hard to see why the reviews for this place is so high and doesn’t drop at all. Would upload more photos into this review whenever I come back. This will forever be my top mala Chinese noodle soup/dry place until there’s a better one

It's conveniently nearby, though prices are slightly on the higher side. Still, it hits the spot every time. Had the dry mala pot and tomato soup. Averagely per pax at RM25 to Rm30. Just a heads-up — try to avoid peak hours as prep time can get long when it’s busy, and parking can be a bit of a challenge too.

I’ve ate it about three times now and really enjoy the fried garlic option, especially since I’m not a fan of mala. The prices are reasonable—usually around RM17 for my portion, which I’d say is on the smaller side. I also appreciate the free ice cream; for something complimentary, it actually tastes pretty great! Plenty of staff, and they bring your food to your table using a buzzer given when you pay. There’s a second floor, though I haven’t been up there myself. The atmosphere is lively, filled with students, and can get pretty noisy and hectic.
